Welcome to La Pirouette Royale, Ballet & Dance Arts
La Pirouette Royale is one of the finest and most prestigious dance schools in Toronto, Ontario, proudly registered with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Our mission is to provide exceptional, high-quality dance education to students of all ages, skill levels, and aspirations — from those dreaming of a professional dance career to those who dance purely for the love of movement and expression.
We are dedicated to offering safe, proper, and professional training, following the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Classical Ballet Exam syllabus, alongside other carefully designed dance programs. Our students progress through thoughtfully structured stages of learning, developing discipline, grace, and self-confidence that will benefit them both in and beyond the studio.
At La Pirouette Royale, we strive to balance technical excellence with the joy of dance in a positive, nurturing, and educational environment. Our faculty is led by our Principal, Ms. Nataleigh Lam — an accomplished RAD Registered Teacher (RAD RTS), holding the ARAD (Advanced II Certificate) and CBTS (Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies) qualifications. Ms. Nataleigh grew up and trained in the RAD Classical Ballet system and was mentored by several renowned and highly respected RAD examiners, including Ms. Jean M. Wong, Ms. Agnes Huang, Ms. Ulian Chun, and Ms. Alice Kwong. Throughout her career, Ms. Nataleigh and her students have been recognized and awarded in numerous international ballet competitions, such as World Ballet Competition (WBC), Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP), Global Dance Open (GDO), World Ballet Arts Competition (WBC), Dance World Cup achieving finalist positions and top honors that reflect the school’s dedication to excellence in both training and performance.
Our state-of-the-art facilities feature two professional dance studios equipped with sprung floors, Rosco vinyl ballet surfaces, maple wood parquet, full-length mirrors, and air-conditioning. With access to the latest audio-visual tools, our teachers create engaging, innovative lessons that enhance every student’s learning experience.
